Mr. David Selmon, better known as “Bubba” was a Founding Member of the Bulldog Booster Club. A 1963 graduate of Carroll, Mr. Selman spent most of his life helping children.
For many years, Bubba worked at Monroe Transit and later at Sol’s Pipe and Steel until his retirement. During that time, he served as a volunteer softball coach for a girls’ team and volunteer trainer for Carroll’s football team. A dedicated fan, Bubba attended all Carroll home games and was an active member of the Booster Club until his death in December of 2012.
The generosity of time and finances that Mr. Selmon displayed reflected his true dedication to Carroll and spirit of community service. David will be missed by his 22 children and all members of the Bulldog Booster Club.
