The Outstanding Alumni and Supporters Banquet began as a means of highlighting the accomplishments of Carroll alumni so that current students would know what outstanding stock preceded them and the extensive range of opportunities that are available to them.  The hope was that knowledge of the school’s historical influences and contributions would encourage current students to strive for more and better options in their own lives.  The Bulldog Booster Club settled on highlighting outstanding alumni and significant non alumni supporters of the school during homecoming week followed by a year-long periodic recognition of each year’s honorees. A perpetual plaque noting each year’s class of honorees is housed in the lobby of Carroll High School and a monthly display depicting the image and biography of one honoree is also housed in the school’s trophy case.

In addition to the banquet and displays, the honorees are recognized at the homecoming game, Honorees are invited to visit the school and speak with the students, especially during the time that their picture and biography are on display.  It is our hope that these contacts will inspire our current students to the greatness that is available to them.
