Herman Dean Doublin is a 1978 graduate of Carroll High School and a founding member of the Bulldog Booster Club. He is a quiet man who declines accolades for the many contributions that he so generously provides to members of the Carroll community. He has personally paid for student equipment associated with the athletic pursuits of Carroll students, and made personal contributions to ensure that teams were fed either before or after their games. He also has mentored kids in the Booker T. community.
A die-hard supporter of Carroll from a family of Carroll graduates and supporters, Mr. Doublin is a perpetual presence in and around the Carroll campus. He attends sports activities of all types, both at home and away. Dean is a dutiful son to his mother and particularly supportive of the activities of his nieces and nephews, most of whom are Carroll students and graduates. He also recruits friends and community members to participate in Carroll activities. Having worked for eight years at the University of Louisiana at Monroe and eight years at Steel Fabrications, he currently has been employed by the Coca Cola company for the past 10 years. He is an active member of Liberty Christian Church.
Dean can always be counted on to clean and stock the concession booth at Carroll football games before and after use. He also makes himself available to assist other club members in facilitating the operations of the concession booth. Mr. Doublin is that person on whom you can count when no one else is available to provide help. He truly is both an outstanding Carroll Alumnus and Supporter.
