Dr. Eric Davis

A 1992 graduate of Carroll High School, Dr. Eric Davis is a twenty-year educator who has served in both Monroe City and Ouachita Parish School Systems as a teacher, coach, and administrator.

Currently he serves as the Principal at Wossman High School. He previously served as the assistant principal at Richwood High School for eleven years and as a teacher and coach at Carroll High School for six years.

Dr. Davis received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in May of 1996 from Miles College in Birmingham, Alabama. He received his Masters of Education from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in August 2003. In January 2015, he received a Doctorate of Education Degree from Walden University in Administration Leadership for Teacher Learning.

A man who loves God, Dr. Davis also serves as the assistant pastor of New Covenant Christian Center Church under the leadership of Mr. Orlando Freemont.

Married to the former Jan Moore, Eric is the father of three children, La’Tovia, Eric, and Brooklyn Davis.

Dr. Davis deeply loves the opportunity that he gets daily to be a positive influence on the lives of young people. He lives his own life as an example of how young people must take hold of opportunities presented to them and to take charge of their lives in order to fulfill their God given purpose.
